Stanley Grace

Stanley “Stan” Grace, 65, of Honaunau died May 6, 2016, at the Kona Community Hospital. Born Dec. 4 1950, in Kealakekua, he was a retired groundskeeper for the Department of Accounting and General Services and member of the Honaunau Head Hunters Motorcycle Club.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 30 at the Hawaii Big Game Fishing Clubhouse at Honokohau Harbor. Memorial service at 11 a.m.; luncheon and fellowship will follow. The family requests casual attire.

He is survived by sons, Stanley Grace Jr., of Honolulu, Scott (Kylie Kirihara) Grace of Honaunau; hanai sons, Kameron Bento of Captain Cook, Kaina Gladden of Kailua-Kona, James Cho and Rudy Haalilio, both of Honaunau, Ansen (Jamie) Gladden and Kapono Grace, all of Hookena, Kauka (Chaunty) Grace of Kona Palisades; daughter, Corrine (Teddy Hanato) Grace of Las Vegas; mother, Stella Grace of Kaohe; brothers, Samuel (Rosemary) Grace Jr., and Shannon (Eva) Grace, all of Kaohe; sisters, Stevelyn Grace of Hookena, Shirlene (Albert) Cantiberos of Pebble Beach, Selma Gladden of Hookena; seven grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jerome Kaeha

Jerome Kaulana Mamala Kaeha, 65, of Hawaiian Paradise Park died July 9, 2016, at his home in Hawaiian Paradise Park. Born on Sept. 15, 1950, in Honolulu, he was a self-employed architecturist.

Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. July 30 a private residence. Take a left on Hawaiian Paradise Park, left on 21st Avenue and the home will be the fifth house on the right.

He is survived by wife, Dona Kaeha of Hawaiian Paradise Park; son, Danny (Mona) Marciel-Kaeha of Hawaiian Paradise Park; brothers, Robert Buck Mamala, James Gravely and Reggie Gravely of Honolulu; sister, Evelyn Gravely of Honolulu; 3 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jean Takaki

Jean “Tutu” Dale Kuulanialoha Takaki, 70, of Kailua-Kona died June 22, 2016, at Kona Community Hospital. Born April 1, 1946, in Honolulu, she was a food waitress at the former Kona Inn and former Magic Sands restaurants, a manager at BJ’s Furniture store, and secretary/treasurer for Ken’s Masonry.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. July 30 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona for an 11 a.m. memorial service. The family requests casual attire.

She is survived by husband, Kenneth Takaki of Kailua-Kona; sons, Shawn Takaki, Shayn Takaki, both of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Kennian (Segundo) Santiago of Pahala; brothers, Frank Ochmann Jr., of Kailua-Kona, Robert (Melani) Ochmann of Ewa, Oahu, and William Ochmann of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Frances (Kenneth) Debina of Captain Cook, and Terri (Randall) Chun of Hilo; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bettie Fisk

Bettie Fisk, 88, died July 8, 2016. She was the wife of former Pastor Glen Fisk, Mokuaikaua Church from 1956-1964, she sang at the church, taught Sunday school, at summer camp at Kohala Girls School and helped with Vacation Bible School at the parsonage in Holualoa.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 20 at Cypress Community Church, Monterey, Calif.

She is survived by daughters, Judy (Ted) Lucas, Debra (Keith) Fleurat and Wendie (Christopher) Latrell; seven grandchildren; two foster grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
